Movie review Us: Jordan Peele who created the "master" image of the horror film.

"Us" is a really hard film to judge by familiar adjectives. And even though Jordan Peele made a statement about the film's message, it was just a revelation in the myriad interesting interpretations of the film.

"Us" is not difficult to see, the plot of the film is generally clear, two lines of characters contrast directly - rather than mysterious abstractions like "Get Out". However, "Us" makes it difficult to explain by too many meanings. Why is that? Because this is an iconic movie. "Symbols" are multi-dimensional materials belonging to the submerged part - the deepest layer requires the audience to "brainstorm". The 1986, the tunnel, the rabbit, the scissors, the red shirt, the image of the red army holding hands, Jason's mask, baseball bat, elevator ... say anything? There are so many associations that remind people of the past and the present.

Remembering the past, you can see the figures of murderers somewhere on Friday the 13th (1980), Halloween (1978) or The Hook (1963). Referring to the present, "Us" reminds schoolmates of this time, even in American society in particular, and somewhere in the world we live in. Looking at it like that, "Us" not only contrasts with the character, but also provides some reflection between the past and the present. And from the present, Jordan Peele probably "premonition" for a future with the name "Us" - "United States" - "We".

From literature, to painting, to music and to cinema, many of the iconic works like "Us" have been enthusiastically received and controversial. Because in general it is quite "picky" and requires us to focus quite a lot. In works like this, it itself created the reception steps, the lowest one you see in "Us" is the story of a group of people who chase and kill a family (simply consider which side lives which side died?). On the next step "Us" is the story of the doppelgänger, you know an ancient spiritual concept that extends to the present. On the next step, you go through the other steps and see "Us" still tinted with the philosophy of "being". On a higher level, "Us" is a projection from "essence" to "whole", you see the film reaching the nooks of science, ethics, religion, politics, people.

With "Us", it's difficult to pin down a word "good", "bad", or "temporary". But surely this is a unique and rich experience. If the scare films make us scream to release strees, then with "Us" we feel uncomfortable, because after watching it, there is something missing (well, because the movie was cut to 3 haunted scenes Best); upset because there are still many ideas that have not been realized; impressed by the rabbit cage and the creepy music; Admiring the challenging roles - an actor with two contrasting roles, especially the "classic" incarnation of the female lead Lupita Nyong’o.

In short, "Us" is a movie to watch. Anything that "Us" can bring to the cinema, it will take a few years, even decades after history to answer. Of course, director Jordan Peele has now officially created his own "horror universe" with the theme of black people, the narrative of humor and the horror, using many materials from the masters of the horror film. Heterosexual to the popular culture motif.

There are 3 particularly impressive scenes in "Us":

1. The barn scene, the beat of the music plays at the beginning of the Fmovies
2. The "chained man" scene standing in front of the Wilson family house
3. The scene where Red dances ballet while struggling with Adelaide

With these three scenes, perhaps Jordan Peele is also worthy of creating the "master" image of the horror film.
